The Lithuanian Human Services Council of the USA, Inc. provides comprehensive assistance to Lithuanians living in United States – from advice on immigration, insurance, pensions, health, or social issues to support with filling out official documents and translations. When needed, mediation with government institutions is offered, as well as the organization of legal and informational seminars, in cooperation with professionals from various fields.

The center of the Council’s activities is the Lithuanian Senior Center “Seklyčia” in Chicagowhere the Social Services Office operates. Here, Lithuanians receive weekly assistance, while senior community members are offered afternoon gatherings, lectures, cultural programs, and excursions.

The Center also has a library, facilities for community events, and publishes the magazine „Pensininkas“, kuris jau daugiau nei 40 metų informuoja bei vienija vyresniuosius lietuvius.
