LAC AUDIT COMMISSION

The LAC Audit Commission is a three-member team elected by the LAC National Board of Directors for a three-year term. From among its members, they elect a president who coordinates all inspections.

The commission monitors that everything operates smoothly: it reviews the reports, assets, minutes, and correspondence of the National Executive Committee and other institutions. Inspections can be conducted at any time, but at least once a year a comprehensive review is performed, culminating in the preparation of an annual report.

Inspections can be conducted not only by the commission members – other LAC members or hired accounting specialists may also join. For each audit, a report is prepared and signed by all auditors. In the annual report, the commission specifies what was audited, how internal controls function, and whether the information presented in the reports is accurate.

After the audit, within 14 days, a copy of the report is sent to the audited institution, the Board of Directors’ Presiding Panel, and the next Board session. All commission activities are carried out in accordance with its rules.
